The movie has a great story of an eternal struggle of good vs. evil and the inter lust & greed inside of humans. The special effects are amazing for a 92-year-old movie and the camera work is brilliant. I also love the great use of fog and shadows in the movie. I highly recommended this film.

Date: 10/6/2018 Viewed: Blu-Ray Re-watch Note: I remember watching this movie on TV when I was a little kid back in the mid-90s. Basket Case is a very fun horror movie from the early 80s and I still think the movie holds up pretty well in my opinion. I love how this movie feels very dirty and grungy. The movie has a lot of fun and creative death and gore scenes that are a lot of fun to watch. I also enjoy most of the characters in the movie. Overall, Basket Case is a fun 80s creature feature and is worth checking out.

Date: 10/5/2018 Viewed: Blu-Ray Re-watch Note: I saw this movie when it came out in theaters when I was a kid back in 1998. I think this movie is a very fun and awesome movie. I like all of the characters and the movie was pretty suspenseful at times. I also love the atmosphere in the movie and how they build up the creature in the movie. Not to mention, the humor in the movie is pretty funny too. I do think the CG has aged terribly and it looks like dog shit now.

Date: 10/4/2018 Viewed: Streaming (Netflix). First Viewing Note: I had high hopes for this movie, but I didn't like it that much. I could not get into the story and characters. Most of the movie was pretty boring to me. I do think the acting and direction was good. It's not a bad movie, I just didn't like it as much as most people did.
