Ravenous
Date: 3/3/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime (Rental) First Viewing Note: I remember seeing the advertisements for this movie back in 1999, but never saw it until now. This movie is pretty awesome because I love the themes in this movie. This movie deals with people losing their humanity after eating human flesh and the horror of war. I was surprised to see this movie having comedy because this movie is mostly serious. I also love the gritty atmosphere that this movie has as well. I recommend to check this movie out.

Night on Earth
Date: 3/2/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime (Rental) First Viewing Note: This movie falls under the category of โ€œHow the hell have I never seen this before?โ€œ. I love every bit of this movie from start to finished. I love how well-directed this movie was and how beautiful the cinematography was. All of the characters are great and memorable. I love the theme of the movie because this movie theme is that we are all different but all live on the same planet and know similar things about life. I also find the movie to be super relaxing to watch because I enjoy long car rides at night time and I felt like I was in the car with these characters in the movie. Overall, this movie has a clever and creative premise that works very well. I highly recommend this movie.

Hellboy
Date: 3/1/2019 Viewed: Netflix Rewatch Note: I decided to rewatch the original Hellboy movie with the new movie coming out in April. It is still a pretty good movie, but it is far from perfect. The special effects and the action still holds up. However, the supporting cast could have been way better. The movie also water down a lot of stuff from the comics in order to be PG-13. I still think the movie is worth checking out if you never seen it. Watch this movie with the reboot coming out soon.

Ghostbusters II (1989)
Date: 2/28/2019 Viewed: Netflix Rewatch Note: I still don't get the hate that the second movie gets. The movie is just as funny and enjoyable as the first movie if you ask me. Sure, the movie does rehash some stuff from the first movie. I still enjoy the second movie nevertheless. Don't listen to hate and check out the sequel if you haven't seen it already.

Split
Date: 2/27/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime (Rental) First viewing Note: This was the movie was pretty awesome. I went into this movie knowing nothing other than it is set in the same universe as Unbreakable. This movie was a very suspenseful and creative thrill ride from start to finished. I really like James McAvoy's character and how he was able to pull off so many personalities at once. I recommended to check out this movie if you haven't seen it already.

Ghostbusters
Date: 2/25/2019 Viewed: Netflix Rewatch Note: I haven't seen the first Ghostbusters movie in a long time and it will be leaving on Netflix on March 1st, 2019. So I decided to rewatch the movie and it is still a great classic. There is not much that I can say about this movie that has not been said a million times before already. It is still an enjoyable movie with funny humor, memorable characters and awesome special effects. If you haven't seen it already, you should.

Valerie and Her Week of Wonders
Date: 2/24/2019 Viewed: Blu-Ray Rewatch Note: I got the Criterion Blu-Ray on Amazon and decided to rewatch the movie. This movie is amazing from start to finished. The movie feels like a dark, surreal and beautiful fairy tale with vampires. I also love the story and see the journey that Valerie goes through. Some people will probably get turn off by some of the sexual content, but they never cross the line with it. I still highly recommended this movie if you haven't seen it yet.

Manborg
Date: 2/23/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime First viewing Note: I loved The Void and The Editor, so I decided to check out Astron-6's first movie. It's a pretty fun movie that is filled with cheesy acting and over the top violence. This movie feels like a movie that would exist on VHS back in the late 80s or early 90s. This movie would get a higher rating if it was longer. Overall, it is a fun movie and not a bad effort for their first film. Check it out if you like cheesy movies.

Robot Carnival
Date: 2/22/2019 Viewed: Blu-Ray Rewatch Note: I haven't seen this movie since I was a little kid on TV back in the 90s and it still holds up. The movie is the anime equivalent of Fantasia with each movie having its own segments of stories. This movie has beautiful animation and has a unique way of telling a story with symbolism and language. Most of this movie is silent with no dialogue which makes this movie very cool and original for its time. My only issue with the movie is some segments could have been better like Presence and Cloud. Presence goes on for way too long and Cloud feels kinda pointless. I still highly recommended this movie if you haven't seen it yet.

The Seventh Seal
Date: 2/21/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime (Rental) Rewatch Note: I haven't seen this movie in a long and wanted to revisit this film. I love this movie, even more, the first time when I saw this movie when I was younger. Everything about this movie is fantastic. The cinematography is beautiful to look at and the atmosphere was very well done. I love how dark and grim this movie feels because this movie feels like a horror movie at times. I also love the story and all of the characters in this movie. I high recommended this movie if you never seen it before.
