Mausoleum
Date: 1/26/2019 Viewed: Streaming (Amazon Prime) First Viewing I'm glad that I saw this movie because this movie is so bad itโ€™s hilarious. This is a fun cheesy 80s horror movie filled with bad acting, great death scenes and cheesy dialogue. I would rate this movie higher if the pacing for this movie didn't suck. The movie has a slow start before anything actually happens. Overall, I recommend this movie if you enjoy bad cheesy movies.

Alpha
Date: 1/26/2019 Viewed: Blu-Ray (Red Box Rental) First viewing My family rented this movie and I decided to watch it with them after hearing good things about this movie. This movie was surprisingly good. This movie had amazing cinematography because everything in this movie was wonderful to look at. The characters in this movie were very well done with the relationship between the main character and the wolf. This movie is won't win any Academy Awards, but it still a pretty solid family film. Worth renting at your local Red Box or any streaming service.

Being John Malkovich
Date: 1/25/2019 Viewed: Streaming (Amazon Rental) Rewatch I first saw this movie was 8 years old when it came out with my Dad and haven't seen it since then. 20 something years later, I decided to rent this movie off from Amazon Prime and I really enjoy it. This movie is a very creative and surreal film with great themes. I highly recommended it if you haven't seen it already.

Don
Date: 1/24/2019 Viewed: Streaming (Netflix) First viewing Not a great movie by any means, however, it is probably one of Lundgren's best movie in a long time. The movie felt like a cheesy 80s action movie and cheesy 80s horror movie mixed into one. The movie has a lot of practical gore and death scenes that look really good at times. There is one splatter massacre scene in the movie that is pretty nuts. The story is pretty silly and makes no sense at times, but at least it didn't take itself too seriously and the characters are a bit self aware on how dumb it can be at times. Check it out on Netflix if you enjoy cheesy violent movies.

Blue Velvet
Date: 1/23/2019 Viewed: Streaming (Amazon Prime) Re-watch Not David Lynch's best movie, but still a great movie. I feel like this movie holds up very well. It's a great mystery thriller from start to finish that is very well directed. Unlike Eraserhead, this movie is more easier to follow and is not super abstract. I highly recommended this movie.
